Keep utilities running. Keep their bills accounted for.

Electricity, water, broadband and telecom due dates do not wait for your team to find the invoice. attenlo starts with each expected bill and keeps its document, review and responsible person connected.

Register the service, account and location

Two electricity bills with the same provider name may belong to different premises. Keep the service account, responsible location and billing period distinct. Record an expected arrival date as well as a due date so an absent document can be noticed early.

The owner-only test pilot supports manually entered accounts and recurring bills, CSV import and attaching documents to the right bill. It does not fetch utility bills from providers or guarantee coverage of every account.

Review changes rather than assuming every bill repeats

Recurring does not mean identical. Amounts, meter periods and adjustments can change. A reviewer should check the actual document and raise a disputed amount instead of accepting last month’s values by habit.

Illustrative example: a branch expects a monthly water bill but receives one covering a different period. Keep the document attached for review and make the period question explicit. Do not create a second payment instruction just because the recurring register expected another row.

Know whether to collect, approve or check proof

A missing document needs provider follow-up. A received bill may need internal approval. A recorded payment needs a matching receipt. Keeping these next steps distinct makes a daily check more useful than a list sorted only by due date.

Payments currently happen outside attenlo. A person can check an attached receipt, but attenlo does not independently confirm bank settlement. Bharat Connect payment execution is in development; eligible billers and categories will depend on the eventual integration and partner validation.

Keep a manual path when a source is unavailable

A provider portal being unavailable is not evidence that a bill does not exist or has been paid. Record the source issue, keep the obligation visible and assign a follow-up. Do not let a failed fetch replace the last known facts.

attenlo is designed around this distinction. Current evaluation is owner-private and synthetic-data-only, with customer admission subject to separate readiness checks.
